Fields' advertising/marketing experience ranges across all media channels. He has written print ads, media spots, web content, Interactive programming, brochures, presentations, collateral material, and  promotional scripts for a client list which includes American Suzuki, Assurant, Discovery Communications, California Pizza Kitchen, Eli Lilly, EMI Music North America, The Ford Foundation, Fox Studios, USC Annenberg School for Communication, Union Bank, Wells Fargo, WellPoint, and many more.

Fields' work in the green/sustainable space for such organizations as The Environmental Defense Fund also includes his co-writing credit on The Gort Cloud: The Invisible Force Powering Today's Most Visible Green Brands, released nationwide in February, 2009. 

Well-known in the entertainment industry as a screen and TV writer, Fields is most often called upon to synthesize hard-to-tell true stories into compelling narrative. He has written many highly-praised dramatic, action, and comedy television and feature film screenplays for such clients as Columbia Pictures, Disney Touchstone, Disney Channel, FX, Fox TV, Starz!/Encore, TNT, Tristar, USA Network, and Warner Bros.. He also spent several years under long-term contract to MGM / UA.

Fields began his wordsmith career in Washington DC as Press Secretary for Congressman Lester Wolff (D-NY), writing press releases, magazine articles, speeches, and radio spots. He also wrote and produced Ask Your Congressman, a weekly radio program for WOR, New York. He has a BA from Brown University and an MFA from the USC School of Cinema.
